Had a lot going on so didn’t get to post this any sooner, but this take is from two weeks ago… and I haven’t played since, so unfortunately I can’t really recall too many of the finer details. But I’ll see what I can do… I do vaguely remember that my max tempo was around 72 bpm but I likely played slower in the take and my metronome is all the way downstairs :~)

I am officially unemployed / in between jobs (start date April 18), so I’m finally back to playing piano somewhat more regularly now that things have settled. I’m hoping to update at least once more prior to starting my new job… let’s hope that pans out. Anyway, I’ve been making glacial progress with this arrangement and wanted to update before I get too much further. I was off to a pretty good start last month, but I’m now realizing just how much more work is going to go into this and am……. mildly despairing lol. BUT, I think I’ve made some notable progress compared to last time, at least, so there’s that.

After many years of being too intimidated to do anything more than timidly sightplay this arrangement, I’m finally trying my hands at it in the spirit of facing challenges.

I’m trying to adopt a more “open-minded” approach to progress updates (as in, obsess less over a good take and capture my progress more candidly and more often) so to that effect, this is a full take of my progress so far, but it’s going to be very obvious what I’ve worked on, which isn’t very much!
